Methods:. From the point of view of cognitive linguists, metaphor refers to the understanding of each and every expression of abstract ideas in the form of more tangible ideas. The purpose of this review research was to review the metaphors used for cancer in articles published in the journal Multidisciplinary Cancer Investigation using a brief overview method. Results: After reviewing the texts of the selected articles using the Pragglejaz method (2007), a number of words and metaphors found in the articles have been mentioned.
