Abstract:   (6 Views)
The Importance of Study: Ovarian cancer remains a major global oncological burden due to its late-stage diagnosis and high mortality. Despite progress in surgery, chemotherapy, and targeted therapies, patient outcomes are often hindered by recurrence and chemoresistance. Early detection remains inadequate, emphasizing the need for innovative treatments.
Methods: Targeted nanotherapeutics offer a promising approach by enabling precise drug delivery through nanoscale carriers that enhance solubility, bioavailability, and tumor-specific accumulation while reducing systemic toxicity.
Results: Nanoscale drug carriers demonstrated enhanced bioavailability, with preferential tumor accumulation leading to improved therapeutic efficacy.
Conclusions: This review summarizes the current challenges in ovarian cancer management and highlights the potential of targeted nanodelivery systems to improve therapeutic efficacy and survival through controlled, cancer-specific drug-release mechanisms.
